Q. How much does it cost to register a player?
A: Below this section, you will find our registration fees by division. A Snack Bar deposit of $100 IS REQUIRED (One per family/account). Please make sure to register your children under one account. If you register under different accounts, the system will charge you $100 PER ACCOUNT!
Q: Do I REALLY have to work in the Snack Bar?
A. As much as we would LOVE to tell you YES, the short answer is NO. Keep in mind, in order to get the Snack Deposit refunded, you MUST WORK 2 hours in our snack bar. Don't worry, we will have PLENTY of opportunities, but make sure you sign up ASAP. The Sign-Up schedule will be released as soon as our Season Schedule is determined.
Q: Is there a discount for families with more than one player?
A: YES! Your second child will received a $10 discount and your third child will receive a $20 discount! Have more than three children? Please contact us by email to discuss further options.
Q: Is there an early registration discount?
A: YES!! Register before October 14th to receive a $10 discount! We call this our Riverbank WINE AND CHEESE DISCOUNT!
Q: What does the league provide for each player?
A: RYBSA will provide each registered player a team jersey. T-ball and Baseball players will also receive a team hat. Softball players will be given team socks. Players will be required to purchase their own pants (color to be decided by the coach) and age and size appropriate cleats at their own expense.
Q: Do I need to purchase equipment to play?
A: RYBSA will provide each team a gear bag which will include a two helmets for each team, age appropriate catchers gear, and two age appropriate bats. We do not provide gloves. RYBSA has helmets and gloves that have been donated by former players. Please let us know if you would be interested in seeing what we have available!
RYBSA will provide each team with 6 practice balls, a team batting "T", and a set of thrown down bases. All items are required to be turned back to the league at the end of the season.
